Princess Kate Plans Memorable Summer for Kids Following Health Scare

Princess Kate is preparing for a summer filled with fun and adventure for her children after experiencing a challenging few months due to health concerns.

Prince George, 10, Princess Charlotte, 8, and Prince Louis, 6, will soon be on summer break, and the Princess of Wales is determined to make the most of it. According to a source speaking to Life & Style, Kate felt tremendous guilt over her children's worry following her cancer diagnosis.

To make amends, the source revealed, “It’s going to be all about being outside in nature and letting the kids just be kids.” Kate is focused on ensuring her children have a memorable summer. “She feels horrible that her children have been so worried about her, so more than ever, she wants to make sure this is a summer to remember. She’s promised they’ll have no bedtimes and lots of treats!” they added.

While the children are out of school, things may become more hectic for Kate, who is continuing preventive chemotherapy. “But she’s been resting and gearing up for it,” noted the source.

The family is expected to spend most of their vacation at their Norfolk estate, where loved ones will join them. Kate's brother, James Middleton, often brings his dogs over to play with the kids. Kate also hopes her children can spend quality time with their cousins.

Although James' son Inigo is only 7 months old, Kate's sister Pippa's children—Arthur, 5, Grace, 3, and Rose, 2—make energetic playmates. “Kate hopes all the kids can be close as they grow up,” added the insider, “and summer is really the only opportunity they have to get together for extended periods.”
