Speaking to GB News, royal expert Angela Levin shed light on the once-close relationship between the Yorks and David and Victoria Beckham.
Andrew and Sarah reportedly threw a birthday party for the Beckhams' youngest daughter, Harper, when she turned six, using Buckingham Palace as the venue without seeking approval.
The friendship between the two couples eventually soured for undisclosed reasons, leading to more amiable relations between the former footballer and King Charles.
"There are claims that actually it was Prince Andrew that Becks was all pally with, and that actually Prince Andrew had organized a birthday party for 6-year-old Harper Beckham in Buckingham Palace," Angela revealed. "Fergie did all that without actually asking for permission."
She continued, "The royal family was absolutely furious about that. But they just felt they're now not getting on very well, so it was very difficult."
This revelation comes amid a current dispute between Prince Andrew and the King over accommodations at the Royal Lodge.
