Princess Anne's husband, Sir Timothy Laurence, has given a fresh update on her health after meeting the Princess Royal on Tuesday. Sir Timothy, who visited Anne in the hospital, assured that she is "doing fine" and brought her "a few little treats from home."
Royal commentator and journalist Kate Mansey shared on X (formerly Twitter), "The Princess Royal is 'fine,' her husband has said. After leaving the hospital where he had lunch with Princess Anne, Vice Admiral Tim Laurence said: 'She’s doing fine - slow but sure.'"
Sir Laurence was photographed entering the hospital with a blue bag containing some goodies. When asked if he brought anything for the Princess Royal, the 69-year-old replied, "Just a few little treats from home."
This marks Sir Laurence's first public statement since Princess Anne's injuries, addressing rumors about her health. It has been claimed that she cannot remember how she sustained her injuries. On Monday, Buckingham Palace stated that the Princess is conscious and will remain in the hospital until later this week as a precautionary measure.
