King Charles III's office has issued a significant update through a newly shared video, addressing rising concerns about the monarch's health.
Despite battling cancer, the 75-year-old King continued his royal duties this week, engaging with 46 world leaders at Blenheim Palace on Thursday.
The royal family's social media accounts posted a video of King Charles meeting with European leaders, accompanied by a message to clarify the situation regarding his health.
The palace stated in the post: "The King welcomed 46 European leaders at a reception at the European Political Community meeting at Blenheim Palace yesterday. Members of His Majesty's Government were also in attendance."
This update comes amid ongoing concerns about King Charles' health. Buckingham Palace's recent decision to exclude a key Commonwealth realm from the upcoming royal tour indicates the monarch's health remains a priority as he continues his cancer treatment.
It was announced earlier this month that King Charles and Queen Camilla will visit Australia and Samoa in October. The King will attend the Commonwealth Heads of Government Meeting in Samoa's capital, Apia. This tour will be the monarch's first significant overseas visit since revealing his cancer diagnosis in February.
However, New Zealand, located southeast of Australia, will not be included in the tour. According to a Buckingham Palace spokesperson, this decision was made based on medical advice to limit the duration of the King's travels.
