Buckingham Palace has confirmed that Birgitte, the Duchess of Gloucester, will be attending two key events at Wimbledon 2024, amidst widespread anticipation regarding Princess Kate Middleton's possible appearance at the prestigious tennis tournament.
According to The Sun, the Palace announced that the senior royal figure will participate in the "Lawn Tennis Association President's Lunch and will later attend the Championships at the All England Lawn Tennis and Croquet Club (AELTC) in Wimbledon" on July 3rd.

This announcement comes amidst growing speculation surrounding Princess Kate's attendance at one of the year's most significant sporting events, following her recent return at Trooping the Colour.
Officials from the tennis tournament expressed optimism about Princess Kate potentially presenting trophies as the Club's patron.
Debbie Jevans, Chair of the All England Club, emphasized that while they are hopeful for Princess Kate's presence, her health and recovery remain their primary concern.
"We're hopeful that the Princess of Wales will be able to present the trophies as the Club’s patron, but her health and recovery is the priority," she stated, as reported by Telegraph Sport.
Currently, Kensington Palace has not made an official announcement regarding Princess Kate's participation in the upcoming tennis championship.
