George and Charlotte's Attendance at Sports Events in Question as William and Kate Handle Solo Engagements

Princess Kate is set to attend the men's singles final at Wimbledon on Sunday afternoon.

The Prince and Princess of Wales are weighing whether their two eldest children will join them at significant sporting events tomorrow.

This morning, Kensington Palace announced that Princess Kate will be present at the men's singles final at Wimbledon. Last year, Prince George and Princess Charlotte accompanied their parents to watch the final between Carlos Alcaraz and Novak Djokovic.

Kensington Palace and Wimbledon have confirmed that the Princess will reprise her role on Sunday, despite her absence from Saturday's women's singles final.

George and Charlotte may join their mother again at Wimbledon, or they could head to Germany with their father for the Euro 2024 final, where England will face Spain.

Prince William, President of the Football Association, has attended two England matches this summer. He took George to the FA Cup final between Manchester City and Manchester United at Wembley in May.

Given his avid interest in football, Prince George might prefer to support Gareth Southgate’s team in their bid to win the Euros. Should England triumph, the players will meet Prince William and King Charles at Buckingham Palace on Tuesday. No official decision has been made regarding which event the children will attend on Sunday.

Princess Kate's youngest, Prince Louis, is unlikely to travel to Germany with his father but could make his Wimbledon debut tomorrow.

Last year, the Princess shared that Louis was "very upset" about missing the tournament. There remains the possibility that both William and Kate will attend their respective events solo, without their children.
