Kate Middleton is enforcing strict household rules for her three children, Prince George, Princess Charlotte, and Prince Louis, to maintain discipline.
Breaking away from royal tradition, Prince William and Kate have taken an active role in raising their children, rather than relying solely on nannies.
According to The Sun, an insider revealed the unwavering rules the Princess of Wales adheres to for maintaining decorum in the Wales household.
“Shouting is absolutely ‘off limits’ for the children, and any hint of shouting at each other is dealt with by removal,” the source stated.
“The naughty child is taken away from the scene of the row or disruption and talked to calmly by either Kate or William.”
The insider added that situations are “explained and consequences outlined” to the young children. Furthermore, William and Kate “never shout at them.”
These rules have been maintained even as Kate undergoes preventative cancer treatment, taking some time away from public life.
Additionally, the royal couple’s Norland-trained nanny, Maria Borrallo, collaborates with the parents on decisions.
“Maria is firm but never acts unilaterally with the children on discipline. Kate and William, along with Maria, are strict with the children but have this magic ability to appear not to be,” the source continued.
"It is a military operation, but you would never guess it because they work tirelessly on their children’s upbringing, making it seem relaxed and happy for the three of them. They are very good at listening to the children but remain firm."
