Kate Middleton Faces Major Heartbreak Over King Charles and Prince William's Future Plans

Kate Middleton might face significant heartbreak concerning her children's future due to King Charles and Prince William's plans for a "slimmed-down" monarchy.

In an interview with Hello! magazine, royal author Kate Williams discussed the possibility of Princess Charlotte, 9, and Prince Louis, 6, moving to London as non-working royals in the future.

A friend of the Prince of Wales previously shared with the Daily Mail that William intends to follow his father's footsteps by keeping his siblings away from royal duties when he becomes King.

Reflecting on Charles’ decision to open Buckingham Palace to the public, Williams highlighted its importance in generating income for the royal collection. Currently, the 75-year-old King resides at Clarence House in London with Queen Camilla.

"On one hand, these palaces are great homes being conserved for future generations,” Williams noted. "On the other hand, they generate a lot of income for the royal collection and are great to visit."

She continued, "We understand that King Charles is aiming for a slimmed-down Royal Family, which may require minor royals to live in non-palatial residences. He doesn't really live in Buckingham Palace at the moment; he's renovating it and using it more as an office."

Williams added, "It will be interesting to see how Prince William handles this if he still has children living with him. Perhaps in the future, we'll see Princess Charlotte and Prince Louis sharing a flat in Shoreditch."
