Prince Harry to Receive Disappointing News from Cancer-Stricken King Charles
Prince William, the heir to the British throne, is determined to keep his estranged brother, Prince Harry, away from their father, King Charles, who is currently battling cancer.
The Prince of Wales is reportedly influencing the monarch to make a strict decision, which is deeply upsetting for King Charles but one he is conceding to under pressure from his eldest son, according to royal commentator Hilary Fordwich.
“It is widely known within the family that Prince William has laid down an absolute ban on Harry returning in any way, shape or form into his former royal family fold,” Fordwich stated, via OK! Magazine.
“If anyone would relent, it would be King Charles III, whom Prince William won’t challenge. The King still misses his ‘darling boy’ and would like to see more of Prince Harry,” she explained.
The rift between the siblings has widened significantly since Harry left his senior royal position in 2020. The relationship deteriorated further after Harry and his wife Meghan Markle depicted the royal family negatively in their Netflix docuseries. Tensions escalated when Harry's 2023 memoir, "Spare," highlighted an alleged physical altercation between the brothers.
“To this day, after the release of Spare and the Netflix series, along with everything else Harry has said, done, and not done, it’s Prince William who adamantly refuses to even speak to his brother,” Fordwich added.
King Charles and Diana’s sons, Harry and William, haven’t been seen together since Charles' coronation, with no signs of reconciliation in sight.
