Buckingham Palace has unveiled new photos of King Charles and Queen Camilla alongside a significant statement from the monarch, following reports of a security disruption during their visit to Jersey on Monday.
The images, shared on the royal family's social media channels, capture the royal couple braving the rain with umbrellas during their activities in Jersey.
Accompanying the photos was a caption highlighting their participation in a special session of Jersey's States Assembly, the island's parliament comprising 49 elected members.

The post comes in the wake of an incident where the royal couple's itinerary was briefly disrupted due to a security concern. Following an investigation, it was confirmed to be a false alarm, allowing their engagements to resume shortly after.
Amidst the day's events, a video surfaced showing Queen Camilla, 76, briefly moved away after receiving ice cream from a Jersey Dairy vendor.
