Meghan Markle has firmly decided to prioritize her life in the United States, where she believes she can "flourish," according to a royal expert. Recent speculation had suggested that the Duchess of Sussex might visit the UK after Prince Harry announced the 2027 Invictus Games in Birmingham.
Royal commentator Gareth Russell told GB News that Meghan's career prospects are significantly better in the US. "I don't think it's a surprise to see the Duchess of Sussex at a big celebrity event," Russell said. "Obviously, that's the world of circles she helps to flourish in America. That is her priority."
Prince Harry has also expressed serious concerns about Meghan's safety in the UK, highlighting these fears in a recent ITV documentary. "It's still dangerous," Harry said. "All it takes is one lone actor, one person who reads this stuff, to act on what they have read... And whether it's a knife or acid, whatever it is. And these are things that are a genuine concern for me."
He added, "It's one of the reasons why I won't bring my wife back to this country," underscoring the couple's cautious approach to returning to the UK.
