Meghan Markle, Duchess of Sussex, has recently made a discreet visit to the UK, engaging with staff during a brief stop at Heathrow Airport’s VIP Windsor Suite.
In what marks her return to British soil after nearly two years, Meghan arrived at Heathrow Airport to rendezvous with Prince Harry before their joint departure to Nigeria. This visit on May 9 concluded a 20-month hiatus and coincided with Harry's participation in the Invictus Games in London.
According to sources, Meghan's time at the airport was well-spent in lively conversations with the staff. “Meghan flew from Los Angeles and waited at Heathrow for Harry to join her for their flight to Nigeria,” a source disclosed. "Though it was a brief encounter, she enjoyed several hours in the VIP suite, engaging warmly with the staff."
This revelation comes amid previous assertions by Prince Harry in an ITV documentary, attributing their limited UK visits to aggressive media scrutiny and security concerns.
The couple, along with their children, Prince Archie and Princess Lilibet, last visited the UK in June 2022 for Queen Elizabeth II's Platinum Jubilee, their only trip as a family since relocating to the United States.
