Peter Phillips Debuts New Relationship at Wimbledon
Peter Phillips made a splash at Wimbledon by introducing his new girlfriend, Harriet Sperling, during a notable appearance by the Royal Family on Wednesday.
The 46-year-old son of Princess Anne attended the SW19 tennis tournament with his step-aunt Queen Camilla, sister Zara Tindall, and Princess Kate's parents, Carole and Michael Middleton. This event marked a return of senior royals to Wimbledon after a brief hiatus, with Princess Beatrice having attended the previous Tuesday.
Harriet Sperling, 44, caught attention in a silk waterlily-print maxi dress from the designer brand Me + Em. Phillips and Sperling began dating earlier this year after his relationship with Lindsay Wallace, which started in 2022.
Previously, Phillips was married to Autumn Phillips, 46, with whom he shares two children, Savannah, 13, and Isla, 12. The couple divorced in 2021 after marrying in 2008, making Phillips the first grandchild of Queen Elizabeth II to marry.
This Wimbledon appearance followed Peter's attendance at the Grand Prix over the weekend and was his first public outing since Princess Anne's discharge from the hospital after suffering a concussion.
Last month, Princess Anne, 73, sustained a head injury in a horse incident at her Gatcombe Park estate in Gloucestershire. She is currently recovering at home with the support of her children and husband, Sir Timothy Laurence, whom she married in 1992 after divorcing Captain Mark Phillips.
