Prince William and Kate Middleton's Plans for Prince George's 11th Birthday Revealed
Prince George, who turned 11 on Monday, July 22nd, will enjoy joyful celebrations at Windsor, planned by his parents, Prince William and Kate Middleton.
The young prince is set to have two birthday parties, a game of soccer, and a cake personally baked by the Princess of Wales. However, according to royal author Christopher Andersen, everything will be kept ‘low-key.’
“William and Kate have done pretty much anything they could to make George’s childhood a relatively normal one — as they have with all their children,” Andersen told Fox News Digital. “But this has obviously been a tough year for George, Charlotte, and Louis, with both their mother and their grandfather waging very public cancer battles. So, it's likely they'll stick to the usual plan and have a low-key party at Windsor attended by cousins and a few school friends.”
These celebrations follow King Charles's cancer diagnosis and Kate's announcement that she is in the early stages of preventative chemotherapy. Despite these challenges, things are looking up as Charles has resumed his public duties and Kate has ended her public hiatus in recent weeks.
A positive sign was Prince George accompanying the Prince of Wales to the UEFA EURO 2024 final match between England and Spain on July 14, while Kate attended the Wimbledon Final with Princess Charlotte.
