Prince Harry Feels Queen Elizabeth's Support in Legal Struggles: 'She's Guiding Me'

Prince Harry has spoken poignantly about his late grandmother, Queen Elizabeth, attributing his strength in ongoing legal battles to her enduring influence. In a revealing interview for ITV's documentary "Tabloids on Trial," which aired on Thursday, July 25, Harry discussed his recent legal victory over Mirror Group Newspapers (MGN) and his broader conflict with the tabloids.

During the conversation with journalist Rebecca Barry, Harry reflected on his special connection with the Queen, who passed away on September 8, 2022, at the age of 96. He disclosed that they had several discussions about his legal challenges prior to her death. "This is very much something she supported; she knew how much it meant to me," Harry remarked.

The Duke of Sussex also expressed a sense of her spiritual guidance, stating, "She is up there going, see this through to the end, without question."

Harry's legal confrontation with MGN began in 2019 when he accused them of unlawfully hacking his phone voicemails, a claim that MGN has consistently denied. Following a favorable ruling for Harry in December, a spokesperson for MGN acknowledged the judgment, expressed relief, and affirmed the company’s commitment to moving forward. "Where historical wrongdoing occurred, we apologize unreservedly, have taken full responsibility, and paid appropriate compensation," the spokesperson added.
