Prince Harry Honored with New Title from UK after Receiving Pat Tillman Award in the US

Prince Harry, who recently accepted the prestigious Pat Tillman Award for his Invictus Games initiative, has received a new title from the UK, despite facing significant public backlash.

The Duke of Sussex was honored at a glamorous ceremony in the US, even as around 80,000 people signed a petition protesting the decision. Former royal butler Grant Harrold, speaking to GB News, has praised Harry’s character, describing him as "gentle" after his heartfelt speech.

During his acceptance speech, King Charles III's younger son highlighted the enduring bond between a mother and son, commending Tillman's mother, Mary, for her advocacy of her son’s legacy, which he found deeply personal and respectful.

Harrold defended Harry against the criticism from the veteran community, acknowledging the emotional weight of the backlash on the Duke. He emphasized Harry's dedication to service, including his time in Afghanistan and the founding of the Invictus Games, which made the award fitting in Harrold’s view.

Addressing Tillman's mother's concerns about not being consulted on the award, Harrold noted his initial uncertainty about Harry accepting the honor but ultimately supported the decision, given Harry’s significant contributions to the armed forces and the Invictus Games.

Despite strong opinions from some, Harrold urged fairness in judging Harry, recognizing the importance of his ongoing efforts and service.
