Prince Harry Reacts to Royal Family Health Issues in New ITV Documentary
Prince Harry finally addressed the cancer diagnoses of his father, King Charles, and sister-in-law Kate Middleton in a revealing ITV documentary.
The Duke of Sussex recently appeared in "Tabloids On Trial," a documentary about phone hacking. While discussing his legal battles with the British tabloids, Harry also spoke about his strained relationship with his family.
ITV reporter Rebecca Barry asked Harry about the health struggles of his father and sister-in-law, noting, "Both your father and your sister-in-law have been unwell. It's a reminder, I guess, to all of us that life is precious.” She added, “Does it ever just make you think, 'This is not worth it. Life is just too short for these legal battles'?"
Harry seemed momentarily at a loss for words but eventually responded, saying that his legal battles and his family’s health issues are separate matters. "Erm, you know, my father and my sister-in-law, and me, you know, following through on these legal battles are two completely different things," he said.
In February, King Charles announced his cancer diagnosis, and in March, Kate Middleton revealed she had been undergoing preventative chemotherapy, shocking the world with the news.
