Prince Harry's Latest Move Stirs Controversy

Prince Harry's decision to discuss the royal family's private matters has raised eyebrows and stirred controversy.

The Duke of Sussex is set to appear in "Tabloids On Trial," a new documentary about phone hacking, airing on ITV1 and ITVX tonight, July 25. According to a source speaking to Express UK, Harry's continued tendency to "air his dirty laundry in public" could harm his reputation and exacerbate the ongoing rift within the royal family.

"Never complain, never explain has been the Royal Family's motto for over a hundred years now," the source noted. "While some of Harry's points might be valid, the family doesn't want to be dragged into more public media storms."

In a rare interview with British journalist Rebecca Barry, featured in tonight's ITV documentary, Harry discussed his mission to expose the alleged "illegal activities of Britain's tabloid newspapers."

The source added, "If there was some kind of media blackout and trust built between Harry and the family, it could lead to a better relationship. But as long as he continues to speak out or make comments about the Royal Family, it's not going to happen. He just needs to learn to keep quiet. They [the Royal Family] don't want to be dragged into any more public spats or negative press stories."
