Prince William and Kate Middleton have issued their first statement following Prince Harry's award ceremony in the US. The Prince and Princess of Wales took to X (formerly Twitter) to share a meaningful video accompanied by the caption, "Make a real difference."
The statement from the couple reads: "Today's Charity Polo Cup is all about supporting causes that make a real difference. One of last year's recipients was Wales @air_ambulance and the impact of the funding they received is already being felt!"
Prince William is set to compete in the Out-Sourcing Inc Royal Charity Polo Cup 2024 at Guards Polo Club in Windsor Great Park on Friday. This event aims to raise funds for causes that William and the Princess of Wales are dedicated to supporting, according to Kensington Palace.
The upcoming event marks the 13th time the prince has participated in the Out-Sourcing Inc Royal Charity Polo Cup, which is expected to raise £1 million for charity. Kensington Palace added, “This year, the event is set to take the total amount raised to more than £13,000,000 for well-deserving causes that the prince and princess are passionate about."
