Prince William and Kate Middleton’s Marriage: Not Always Perfect, But Under Control

Prince William and Princess Kate have been in a relationship since 2003, and like any couple, they experience their share of disagreements. While the royal family often appears flawless to the public, behind closed doors, they have their moments of marital discord.

Royal author Tom Quinn, in an interview with Daily Express US, shed light on the private dynamics of the couple's relationship. According to a Palace aide, while Prince William and Kate do have arguments, they manage to keep them under control. "Someone who worked for Kensington Palace told me they [William and Kate] do have rows. It's not a perfect marriage. They have terrific rows," Quinn shared. However, unlike some couples who might resort to throwing heavy objects during a fight, William and Kate's disagreements are reportedly limited to throwing cushions.

The insider emphasized that their arguments don't escalate further. "The fight doesn't get bigger and bigger," they said. This contrasts with Prince Harry and Meghan Markle, who, according to the same source, engage in more intense disagreements.

Despite their public displays of affection and declarations of love, Harry and Meghan's private life is reportedly more volatile. An excerpt from Valentine Low's book 'Courtiers: The Hidden Power Behind the Crown' reveals that Meghan once threatened to break up with Harry if he did not publicly acknowledge her as his girlfriend.

The couple, who married in May 2018, stepped down from their royal duties less than two years later. They have faced numerous challenges and increasing public scrutiny, especially following the end of their exclusive Spotify deal and ongoing concerns about their Netflix partnership.

Despite presenting a united front in public, sources suggest that the pressures of their independent ventures are straining their relationship. A source told OK! Magazine, "This has been such a challenging few months for Meghan and Harry and the pressure they are under is immense. They feel they are constantly under attack."

Royal author Tom Quinn echoed these sentiments, indicating a growing rift between the couple due to Meghan's concerns about their waning public interest. "There is a growing rift between Harry and Meghan caused by Meghan's increasing concern that her life is not going in the direction she had planned," Quinn remarked.

While both royal couples face their unique challenges, the key difference lies in how they handle their disputes and navigate the pressures of public life.
