Prince William is set to receive a substantial pay increase following the acquisition of multiple royal titles this year. The Prince of Wales, who inherited the Duchy of Cornwall from his father King Charles, will receive an impressive $30 million from his first full year's income for the 2023-2024 financial year.
The estate, granted to William upon Charles' ascension to the throne, also conferred upon him the title of Duke of Cornwall. According to the Integrated Annual Report, this sum covers the official, charitable, and private expenses of Prince William, Kate Middleton, and their three children.
Prince William is expected to pay income tax on his entire income from the Duchy of Cornwall after deducting household expenses, which have not been specified.
The report also revealed that William has been appointed as the Patron of the Football Association, a title previously held by his late grandmother, Queen Elizabeth. William had served as president of the FA since 2006, and this change reflects his senior role as Prince of Wales.
In addition to the new title, Prince William will assume roles as the Patron of the Welsh Guards Charity and the Royal Cornwall Agricultural Association, as well as the president of the Victoria Cross and George Cross Association.
