King Charles' sister, Princess Anne, currently in Paris for the Olympic Games, has decided to stop giving interviews about her recent horse accident, according to a royal expert.
Princess Anne has been recovering from head injuries sustained during an incident at Gatcombe Park estate on Sunday, June 23. Despite this, she has partially resumed her royal duties.
Speaking to GB News, royal commentator Gareth Russell stated that Princess Anne is not inclined towards self-pity. "I don't think we'll see a big sit-down interview where she discusses the horse-riding accident at all. I don't think it's really in her nature," Russell remarked.
While the Princess Royal is often candid in interviews, Russell added, "She might talk about it if asked, but I'd be very surprised if she felt it was in the public's interest or necessary to discuss the incident at length."
These remarks come during Princess Anne's 12-day visit to Paris for the Olympic Games. As president of the British Olympic Association, she did not attend the opening ceremony in person.
In contrast, Princess Charlene dazzled in a Louis Vuitton jumpsuit at the ceremony, accompanied by her husband, Prince Albert.
