Princess Anne to Brave Return to Royal Duties Despite Recent Horse Accident

Princess Anne is reportedly planning to resume public duties after a two-week break following a horse-related incident.

The 73-year-old sister of King Charles had to cancel engagements indefinitely after spending nearly a week in the hospital due to a head injury caused by a horse.

According to the Daily Beast, the Princess Royal is expected to make her first appearance in two weeks at a remote Scottish location for a lighthouse conservation organization she supports.

A source expressed the family's concern about her well-being, given her unwavering dedication to public service.

“She has been resting, which doesn’t suit her. Anyone who knows her understands she will be eager to get back in the saddle, both literally and figuratively,” they said.

“Her family knows how much her work means to her. No one would bother telling her to slow down as she would probably tell them to ‘Naff off!’”

The royal friend added that Anne is still struggling to recall the details of the incident that led to her five-night stay at a trauma center in Bristol.

“It was a freak accident, and she still has no memory of exactly what happened,” they said. “Her family was deeply shaken at the time, but such incidents are part of owning horses. It seems it is a case of all’s well that ends well,” the pal concluded.
