Princess Kate Demonstrates Authority Over Prince William at Major Royal Event
Kate Middleton showcased her leadership and authority over Prince William during a significant royal engagement after receiving a prestigious new title.
The Princess of Wales, currently battling cancer, asserted her power by taking the lead during the couple’s St. Patrick’s Day celebration with the Irish Guards in 2023. This marked her debut in the role of Colonel of the regiment, a position she took over from Prince William, who now serves as Colonel of the Welsh Guards.
Body language expert Darren Stanton, speaking on behalf of Betfair Bingo, observed Kate’s confidence as she exited the car, with William accompanying her. “Kate appeared very confident,” Stanton noted, highlighting her choice of bold, powerful colors to make a statement in her new role.
“During the appearance, Kate’s posture and stance exuded confidence, while William seemed more reserved, possibly to avoid overshadowing his wife,” Stanton continued. Despite William’s experience with such events from his military background, it was clear that Kate embraced her new responsibilities with poise and assurance.
