Prince George's Euros Outfit Angers Fans
The royal family has come under fire for Prince George's outfit during his appearance with Prince William at the Euro final in Germany on Sunday.
The father-son duo looked sharp in matching suits while watching the England vs. Spain match from the royal box.
However, George's formal attire has sparked backlash, with some accusing the royal family of "not letting" the young prince wear an England shirt at the match.
Prince George and Prince William were visibly upset as England suffered a heartbreaking defeat to Spain in the Euro 2024 final.
Commenting on George's outfit choice, GB News host Bev Turner said the young prince should have been dressed in an England shirt.
On Britain's Newsroom, Ben Leo remarked, "Didn't George look good?" to which Bev responded, "Did he?"
"He had a little suit on. I told my wife, George is a good-looking kid," Ben continued.
Bev replied, "Oh, it's a bit strange, though, isn't it? Yeah, it's smart, but I don't know how they get these children into these clothes. Some of the clothes they wear are just so grown-up."
Ben agreed, "That's what people were saying online last night: why can't George just wear an England top?"
Royal commentator Cameron Walker explained, "There's been a lot of criticism that Prince George isn't allowed to wear an England top. Sometimes, when he goes to Aston Villa with his father, he wears an Aston Villa scarf, but he also tends to be in a suit."
Cameron added, "If you're in the royal box, you have to wear a suit and tie. That's just how it goes. He's also a future king.
"The King of Spain was also in the stadium yesterday, and he was wearing a suit too. He probably left a lot happier than Prince William did."
Walker continued, "It's just the way it is when you're royal, like Prince William. Prince George is only ten, but he is the future king and in the royal box, so I'm sure he gets to wear the football kit at some point."
Despite the criticism, William and George drew significant attention with their emotional reactions throughout the game. They were left devastated as England suffered a painful defeat to Spain in the Euro 2024 final.
