Royal Family Responds to Meghan Markle's Planned UK Return

Meghan Markle Faces Setback Amid Prince Harry's 2027 Invictus Games Announcement

The Royal Family has reportedly broken its silence regarding Meghan Markle's intention to return to the UK for the 2027 Invictus Games, set to take place in Birmingham.

Prince Harry recently announced that his passion project, the Invictus Games, will be hosted in Birmingham in 2027. He praised the city, stating, "Congratulations to Birmingham, UK, on winning the bid to host the Invictus Games 2027. Your city’s strong ties to the Armed Forces community made it a formidable contender from the very start."

Following this announcement, royal experts began speculating about Meghan's potential appearance at the event. Royal commentator Hilary Fordwich told Fox News that the senior members of the Royal Family have not altered their feelings towards Meghan. She referenced Prince Harry’s memoir "Spare," where he mentioned Prince William's description of Meghan as "difficult," "rude," and "abrasive."

Christopher Andersen, another royal expert, claimed that while there is "zero chance of Meghan missing the Invictus Games," she will likely attend briefly and without their children, Prince Archie and Princess Lilibet, due to security concerns. The Duke of Sussex has previously expressed his reluctance to bring Meghan and their children to the UK amidst these concerns, as highlighted in a recent ITV documentary.
