Princess Kate has found herself in a ‘dreadful situation’ over a photoshop controversy, reportedly due to actions by the royal family, claims a senior royal expert.
In a conversation with The Sun, royal commentator Tom Bower criticized the palace's handling of the situation, stating they "played it appallingly at that stage and landed her with that dreadful situation where she did the Photoshop photograph, which was just a tragedy, a self-inflicted wound."
On March 10, Mother's Day, Catherine shared a delightful photo featuring herself and her children, Prince George, Princess Charlotte, and Prince Louis. However, several renowned media agencies issued a ‘kill notice’ on the picture, claiming it had been edited.
This controversy emerged amid growing speculations about Kate's whereabouts following her abdominal surgery in January. Tom believes the situation "could have avoided all the [drama] if they’d thought far more carefully about it."
Eventually, the Princess of Wales addressed the controversy, admitting she had "experimented with editing."
Currently, Kate Middleton is undergoing preventative chemotherapy following her cancer diagnosis in March.
