Actress Shannen Doherty's touching message to Princess Kate has emerged following her passing.
Doherty, a vocal advocate for cancer awareness since her diagnosis in 2015, reached out to the Princess of Wales after Kate revealed her own cancer diagnosis earlier this year.
In a heartfelt Instagram story from March, Doherty wrote, "Being a public figure does not mean the public owns that person. We ALL have the right to go through illness or life privately."
She continued, emphasizing privacy and respect, "And Princess Kate, I admire your strength through the endless onslaught you've been under while going through cancer."
Leslie Sloane, who had worked with Doherty for years, confirmed the actress's passing, stating, "It is with a heavy heart that I confirm the passing of actress Shannen Doherty."
Meanwhile, Princess Kate received a warm welcome at Wimbledon's Centre Court, marking her second public appearance since returning at Trooping the Colour on June 15. She was greeted with a standing ovation from the enthusiastic crowd.
