Camilla's Strong Stance Protects King Charles from Balmoral Tensions with Prince Andrew

Queen Ensures Peaceful Holiday by Keeping Brothers Apart Amid Royal Lodge Dispute

Queen Camilla has reportedly taken firm action to prevent a potential confrontation between King Charles and Prince Andrew during their holiday at Balmoral Castle, as tensions persist over the future of Royal Lodge.

King Charles is believed to want Prince Andrew to vacate Royal Lodge, where he has resided since 2003, due to rising security costs. However, insiders claim that Camilla, 77, is ensuring that the brothers remain "at arm's length" to avoid any direct clash, according to GB News.

A close friend of the King and Queen remarked, "Charles is not one for confrontation, especially while on holiday. They are likely only seeing each other at dinner."

This summer, King Charles is in need of rest following recent cancer treatment, which has left him frequently fatigued. "Discussing Royal Lodge now would only add to his stress," the source added.

Earlier this year, Buckingham Palace announced that the King had been diagnosed with cancer and was undergoing treatment, leading to a temporary reduction in his public engagements. By April, he had resumed his duties, including attending the 80th anniversary of the D-Day landings in France.

Camilla is reportedly taking steps to safeguard her husband's well-being at Balmoral, helping him avoid unnecessary stress.

The source also mentioned that during Christmas, Andrew tried to arrange a meeting with the King, but Camilla kept her distance to avoid tension.

King Charles is continuing the tradition of his late mother, Queen Elizabeth II, by staying at Balmoral until October. Recently, he began his summer stay by inspecting the Balaklava Company, 5th Battalion, The Royal Regiment of Scotland at the castle gates.

The King and Queen are also expected to be joined by the Prince and Princess of Wales and the Duke and Duchess of Edinburgh during their time at Balmoral.
