“There is a really warm connection between Sophie and her great-niece, which is very touching,” a senior royal source told The Sun, adding that the pair have even gone on shopping trips together.
As Kate, known for her iconic fashion choices, has been largely absent following her diagnosis in March, Duchess Sophie and her daughter, Lady Louise, have taken Charlotte under their wing. They have been supporting her and looking after her during this challenging time.
The insider revealed that Kate is delighted by the growing bond between Charlotte and her mentors. “Louise adores Charlotte too, but doesn’t see as much of her as she is mostly away in Scotland,” the source noted, referring to the 20-year-old royal who is currently in her second year of university.
