Kate Middleton Grows Anxious as Prince William and Prince Harry Near Potential Confrontation
Prince Harry’s latest announcement has reportedly caused significant anxiety for his sister-in-law, Kate Middleton, as his upcoming plans for next month could lead to a tense situation with Prince William.
The Princess of Wales, who seems to have a soft spot for Harry, is increasingly worried about his status within the royal family, particularly as his rift with Prince William has seemingly left him isolated.
In an unexpected development, William, who remains upset with his younger brother, is scheduled to travel to New York in September to promote his Earthshot Prize initiative. Coincidentally, Harry has also announced plans to visit New York during the same period to further the work of The Archewell Foundation, the nonprofit organization he co-founded with Meghan Markle, The Duchess of Sussex. The possibility of the two brothers crossing paths amidst their ongoing feud is reportedly heightening Kate’s anxiety.
While it’s uncertain whether the two will meet, the potential for an awkward or even hostile encounter is causing Kate considerable concern. A friend of William previously revealed to The Times that the future King has no plans to invite Harry to his coronation, highlighting the deep division between the siblings.
An insider told Closer magazine that Kate, who is currently undergoing cancer treatment, is deeply saddened by the deteriorating relationship between Harry and William. "Kate looks at Harry and sees a very lost soul," the source said. "She’s heartbroken that it has come to a point where he’s completely distanced himself from the family and seems trapped in a difficult position."
To protect her from additional stress during her treatment, Kate was initially shielded from the growing drama surrounding the royal rift. However, she now insists on staying informed, expressing deep concern about the ongoing tensions.
The royal siblings, who last spoke during the funeral of their grandmother, Queen Elizabeth, in September 2022, remain estranged and are not currently on speaking terms.
