Princess of Wales Enjoys Relaxing Retreat at Anmer Hall Ahead of Balmoral Visit
Kate Middleton, who recently sparked discussion about her health following a new video appearance, has subtly revealed her family’s preferred holiday destination during her latest appearance with Prince William.
In the video, the Princess of Wales appeared casual and at ease in what is believed to be the garden of their Norfolk home, Anmer Hall. This serene and private retreat is a cherished getaway for the family, especially during the Christmas season. In fact, the estate was the backdrop for their 2020 Christmas card.
After undergoing abdominal surgery earlier this year, Kate left Adelaide Cottage to continue her recovery at Anmer Hall. The family, including William and their three children, retreated to this country haven during the mid-February half-term school holidays.
"Catherine is recovering well. She was looking forward to a change of scene and will be able to take it easy in Norfolk while the children let off steam with William," a source revealed to the Daily Mail. The family also spent time at Anmer Hall during the Easter holidays to "close off from the world."
Anmer Hall, a secluded 10-bedroom Georgian mansion, is located on the vast Sandringham estate and was gifted to the couple by the late Queen following their wedding. The property, which underwent a £1.5 million renovation, features its own swimming pool and tennis court, offering the family a peaceful retreat away from the public eye before their upcoming trip to Balmoral.
