Princess of Wales Earns Surprising Title from William: 'Crazy'

Catherine, who is passionate about sports, has a penchant for cold water swimming, a hobby that Prince William finds particularly alarming. The mother-of-three’s enthusiasm for this icy activity has earned her the playful title of "crazy" from her husband.
In 2023, during a conversation on Mike Tindall's podcast "The Good, The Bad And The Rugby," Catherine shared her love for cold water swimming, saying, "I really, genuinely, love all sports. I can always remember being physical, using our bodies, whether it’s walking, climbing the Lake District, in Scotland, or swimming from a young age."
She added, "Cold swimming – the colder, the better. I absolutely love it. Slightly to the point where William’s [saying], ‘You’re crazy,’ and it’s dark and it’s raining. I will go and seek out cold water. I love it."
While Catherine is currently undergoing cancer treatment, which prevents her from engaging in cold water swimming, she has found ways to stay connected to her love of sports. Recently, she was seen enjoying a day at Wimbledon with her daughter Charlotte and sister Pippa Middleton, showing her enduring passion for physical activity even during recovery.
