Anne Diamond Raises Concerns Over Princess's Absence
Kate Middleton, the Princess of Wales, is reportedly undergoing preventative chemotherapy, resulting in only a few public appearances this year. GB News presenter Anne Diamond recently expressed her concern about Kate’s health, highlighting her limited public presence and sharing her feelings of being "very worried and sad" about the future Queen’s well-being.
Kate’s last public appearance was at the Wimbledon men’s final in July, where she presented the trophy to Carlos Alcaraz. Anne Diamond noted that the British public has become “used to not seeing her” and questioned royal expert Jennie Bond about when Kate might next appear.
"We’ve almost got used to not seeing her," Diamond commented. "This makes me very worried and sad. Do you think this is just her taking the summer off, or is this not good news?"
Jennie Bond responded by explaining that the royal family often takes the summer off to focus on their children. "I don’t know anything about her state of health and nor should I. I am hoping that come autumn, we may see more of her," she said.
Despite her absence from public events, Kate has remained active on social media, sharing statements with the Prince of Wales. The couple recently congratulated Team GB on winning their first gold medals at the Olympics in equestrian and mountain biking.
Kate is reportedly planning to travel to Scotland this summer to join other royal family members at Balmoral.
