Tensions Rise as Prince Andrew Resists King Charles's Plans for Relocation
The ongoing tension between King Charles and Prince Andrew over the Royal Lodge has reached a new height, with the Duke of York receiving a stern warning.
King Charles has requested that Prince Andrew vacate the expansive Royal Lodge and relocate to Frogmore Cottage. Despite this request, the Duke is reportedly hesitant to accept the move to another royal residence.
Royal expert Robert Jobson has suggested that it may be time for Prince Andrew to "disappear," as King Charles appears determined to distance himself from his brother due to Andrew's association with Jeffrey Epstein.
"He doesn't want to leave, but there will come a point where he's exposed. It's likely best for him to disappear," Jobson commented, also noting the significant damage the Epstein scandal has inflicted on the royal family.
In a further sign of his displeasure, King Charles has reportedly withdrawn security from Andrew's current residence, underscoring the seriousness of the situation. Jobson added that, as Andrew is no longer a working royal, he should consider accepting the King's offer of relocation.
