King Charles Faces Heartbreaking News as Protesters Plan to Swarm Windsor Castle Gardens

King Charles III is facing a challenging situation as thousands of climate protesters from Extinction Rebellion (XR) plan to converge on the gardens of Windsor Castle next week. The 75-year-old Monarch has been invited to join the campaigners outside his royal residence, although the protest is not directed at him personally but rather at the broader system supporting the "obscene profits of oil and gas companies."

Catherine Bartlett of Extinction Rebellion UK explained to Euro News, "Windsor Castle has been chosen as a symbol of a broken and unjust system, where our message will resonate powerfully. The general election has neither fixed our broken system nor addressed the urgent action needed to tackle the climate and nature emergency."

The group emphasized that their protests would be peaceful and have been coordinated with the estate. Volunteers will be present to ensure safety, and provisions such as water, food, toilets, and tents will be available for the campaigners.

Despite his longstanding advocacy for environmental causes, King Charles now finds himself at the centre of a significant demonstration aimed at urging more urgent action on climate change.
