Queen Camilla is also reportedly worried that Charles may be overexerting himself, fearing that his busy schedule could hinder his recovery, according to a friend who spoke to the Daily Beast. Despite these concerns, the King seems to be focusing on more positive aspects of his break, such as selecting thoughtful Christmas gifts and encouraging others to do the same.
During his Balmoral stay, Charles has been promoting festive items from his Highgrove House collection, including embroidered tea towels, exclusive Champagne flutes, and luxury handmade plastic-free crackers, as reported by The Sun.
Amid these preparations, King Charles is also expected to address some difficult issues during the Balmoral summit. A well-placed insider told Express.co.uk that these discussions may include Prince Harry and Meghan Markle’s ‘quasi-royal’ tour to Colombia, as well as the ongoing situation with his brother, Prince Andrew, including his potential eviction from the Royal Lodge.
