King Charles Seeks Spiritual Guidance Amid Desire for Reconciliation with Prince Harry

Monarch Draws Comfort from Faith as He Hopes to Mend Relationship with Estranged Son

King Charles is reportedly turning to spiritual guidance in hopes of reconciling with his estranged son, Prince Harry. Sources reveal that the 75-year-old monarch has been seeking counsel from spiritual leaders, which has helped him find comfort and clarity in his role as King.

Since ascending to the throne, King Charles has increasingly turned to faith and contemplation, drawing "spiritual nourishment" from his discussions with religious and philosophical advisors. This newfound focus on spirituality has made him more open to the idea of mending his relationship with Prince Harry, who currently resides in California with Meghan Markle and their two children, Prince Archie, five, and Princess Lilibet, three.

"Faith has always been a part of Charles’s life, but it has taken on a more central role since he became King," an insider shared. "This reliance on faith and quiet contemplation has become a source of comfort and strength for him as he navigates his responsibilities as monarch."

The strained relationship between Charles and Harry has been a source of distress for the King, particularly following the couple's public criticisms of the Royal Family. In his memoir Spare, Harry described Queen Camilla as his "wicked stepmother," and during an interview with Oprah Winfrey, Meghan Markle alleged that a senior royal had expressed concerns about the skin color of their son, Archie.

Charles is reportedly heartbroken over the estrangement and has not seen his grandchildren, Archie and Lilibet, since June 2022, when the family visited the UK for Queen Elizabeth II’s Platinum Jubilee.

Despite the tension, the insider indicated that Charles deeply misses Harry and is hopeful for a reunion. "Charles still loves his son and wishes for a reconciliation, whether or not Harry and Meghan return to royal duties. He longs for the bond they once shared and wants them to know that the door is always open."

However, recent reports suggest that communication between the King and Harry has been limited, with Charles allegedly ceasing to take Harry's calls and respond to his letters, even after a positive meeting earlier this year following the King's cancer diagnosis.
