Prince Harry Faces Another Setback as Staff Exodus Continues
Prince Harry and Meghan Markle are facing another challenge as they lose a key staff member just before their Colombia tour.
Josh Kettler, Prince Harry’s Chief of Staff, recently resigned after a three-month trial period, marking the 18th staff departure from the Sussexes' team. Reports suggest that Meghan Markle may be the driving force behind these exits, pushing away Harry's loyal staff.
According to The Daily Beast, Kettler’s role was specifically tied to Harry, and the decision to part ways was reportedly mutual. However, the consistent departure of staff has raised concerns about deeper issues within their team.
British broadcaster and photographer Helena Chard told Fox News Digital, “A revolving door of staff seems to be the norm for Harry and Meghan. Eighteen members of their staff have departed their team... this high turnover highlights that something is wrong.”
In 2018, Jason Knauf, the couple’s former communications secretary, expressed concerns in an email, suggesting that Meghan had been bullying staff, leading to their departures. “I am very concerned that the duchess was able to bully two PAs out of the household in the past year. The treatment of X was totally unacceptable,” Knauf wrote.
While Buckingham Palace commissioned a report on the bullying allegations, the findings have never been disclosed.
Despite these claims, many former staff members have spoken positively about their time working with Prince Harry. One former aide, who left after his role expanded to include serving Meghan, cited the Duchess as the reason for his departure, according to The Daily Beast.
The Duke and Duchess of Sussex have not responded to requests for comments on the bullying allegations.
