Duchess Surprises by Wearing Beckham-Designed Outfit Amid Reconciliation Speculation
Meghan Markle seemingly put to rest rumours of a feud with Victoria Beckham with a surprising move during her high-profile visit to Colombia.
At the Responsible Digital Future Forum, where she and Prince Harry advocated for safer digital spaces, the Duchess of Sussex made a statement by wearing a brown shirt from Victoria Beckham’s fashion line.
This gesture may hint at a reconciliation between Meghan and the former Spice Girl, following reports that Meghan’s request to borrow clothes from Victoria’s brand had been declined. Additionally, there were allegations that Harry and Meghan accused Victoria and her husband, David Beckham, of leaking their stories to the press, which reportedly left the football legend "furious."
At the time, the Daily Mail reported that any chance of mending the relationship seemed unlikely. However, Meghan’s latest wardrobe choice appears to quash those rift rumours.
It’s also noteworthy that Meghan wore the same £600 shirt while promoting Joe Biden during the 2020 U.S. presidential election.
Prince Harry and Meghan Markle are currently on a four-day tour in Colombia, focusing on the negative impact of digital media on young people's mental health.
