Meghan Markle and Prince Harry Receive Heartfelt Gift During Colombian Drum School Visit

Prince Harry and Meghan Markle Celebrate Their Third Stop in Colombia with Special Gesture

On the second day of their Colombian tour, Meghan Markle and Prince Harry visited Escuela Tambores de Cabildo, a local drum school dedicated to preserving traditional African drumming. The couple was warmly welcomed by the school's founder, Rafael Ramos.

After enjoying an opening performance and engaging with the local community, Meghan was presented with a meaningful gift by one of the students—a small wooden boat symbolizing the coastal city and its beaches, as reported by People Magazine.

Ramos, capturing Meghan’s delighted reaction, told the outlet in Spanish, “I love seeing Meghan’s big, big smile. I can tell she’s excited!”

The Duke and Duchess of Sussex, along with Colombian Vice President Francia Márquez and her husband, Rafael Yerney Pinillo, joined a student-led drumming lesson, fully immersing themselves in the rhythmic beats. At one point, Meghan and Márquez couldn’t resist getting up to dance to the lively music.

This visit marked the third school that Prince Harry and Meghan have visited during their Colombian trip, highlighting their continued engagement with local culture and communities.
