Prince Harry Disappointed After Birthday Celebration Is Cancelled
As Prince Harry approaches his 40th birthday on September 15th, his plans for a celebratory trip have reportedly been derailed by his wife, Meghan Markle.
The Duke of Sussex had hoped to mark his milestone birthday with a trip to the UK to celebrate with friends. However, according to an insider quoted by Closer Magazine, Meghan has put a stop to those plans.
“She’s saying absolutely not,” the source revealed, explaining that Meghan is concerned about how such a celebration might impact their public image. “They’re focused on mingling with the Hollywood and political elite, so the idea of Harry partying with his pals in Mykonos or anywhere else is seen as a bad look.”
The decision has reportedly left Harry disappointed, as he reflects on the freedoms he enjoyed while living in the UK. Despite his feelings, Harry understands the need to prioritize his family.
“He hates to let his friends in the UK down,” the source added, “but his family comes first, and Meghan wouldn’t be happy if he neglected his responsibilities in an attempt to relive the past.”
Previously, Harry expressed concerns about security in the UK after it was downgraded following his and Meghan’s decision to step back from their senior royal roles.
As his birthday approaches, it remains uncertain whether Harry will choose a quieter celebration or a more private gathering with close friends.
