Duchess Appears Nervous Despite Confident Demeanour During CBS Interview
Meghan Markle appeared to be internally nervous despite putting on a confident front during a recent interview with Prince Harry. The Duke and Duchess of Sussex's interview is set to air on CBS News today, August 4, though a clip from their conversation has already been released.
According to Express.co.uk, body language expert Darren Stanton noted that the former Suits actress seemed to draw on her "strength" when she felt "out of her depth." He explained, "When Harry is speaking and holding court, taking away the attention from Meghan, we saw her biting her lip. This is a giveaway of how Meghan, despite appearing confident, was feeling nervous internally."
Stanton also observed, "While her eye contact did decrease throughout the interview, she did maintain a strong hold for the most part, and it exemplifies how she is able to adopt strength and push through even when she is feeling slightly out of her depth."
In the viral clip, Harry and Meghan address the growing issue of online hate and discuss their reasons for keeping their children, Prince Archie and Princess Lilibet, out of the limelight.
