William’s Long-Standing Resentment Drives Push for Andrew’s Eviction from Royal Lodge
Prince William reportedly holds a long-standing grudge against his uncle, Prince Andrew, due to past tensions involving Kate Middleton. Royal expert Richard Kay suggests that William’s resentment stems from Andrew being allegedly unwelcoming when Kate was first introduced to the royal family.
Speaking to Mail Online, Kay claimed that William believes King Charles has been "too soft" on Andrew, which has led to speculation that William is pushing for Andrew’s eviction from Royal Lodge to make way for the Prince and Princess of Wales.
Royal commentator Tom Quinn added that moving Andrew to Frogmore Cottage would solve multiple issues for King Charles. "It sends a clear message to Andrew that, after his past actions, he can no longer expect to live in grand style," Quinn explained. "And it frees up a prestigious residence for the royals who truly matter—William and Kate."
