Prince George Requires King Charles' Approval for Major Royal Privilege

Princess Charlotte and Prince Louis to Retain Privilege That George Will Soon Lose

As Prince George recently celebrated his 11th birthday, he is on the verge of losing a significant royal privilege that his siblings, Princess Charlotte and Prince Louis, will continue to enjoy.

The royal family enforces strict protocols, especially for those directly in the line of succession, unless the reigning monarch intervenes.

According to King Charles’ former pilot, Graham Laurie, Prince William stopped flying with his father around the age of 12 to ensure the continuity of the monarchy. Laurie explained to Hello! Magazine: “Interestingly, we flew all four: the Prince [King Charles], the Princess [Princess Diana], Prince William, and Prince Harry, up until Prince William was 12 years old.”

After William turned 12, he was required to travel on a separate aircraft, with the only exception being when they had “written permission from Her Majesty.”

In a recent development, royal biographer Robert Jobson revealed that King Charles had expressed concerns about Prince George traveling with the entire family. This concern led to a tense discussion between King Charles and Prince William, resulting in a formal document from the monarch acknowledging the risks involved and assuming full responsibility for William’s decisions.
