Prince Harry Faces Pressure to Return £7 Million Inheritance

Prince William Reportedly Upset Over Harry’s Inheritance Amid Ongoing Royal Family Tensions

As Prince Harry approaches his 40th birthday on September 15, a substantial £7 million inheritance from a trust fund established by his great-great-grandmother, the Queen Mother, has become a topic of heated debate. A recent Express.co.uk poll found that 75% of respondents believe the Duke of Sussex should return the money to King Charles.

Despite the poll's results, only 22% support Harry keeping the inheritance, while 3% remain undecided. The sizable sum gives Harry a financial advantage over his brother, Prince William, who benefits from the Duchy of Cornwall's wealth.

Sources indicate that Prince William is displeased with Harry's impending inheritance. A source told Closer Magazine, "William is pretty disgusted that Harry is cashing out on this inheritance without contributing anything in return. The idea of Harry benefiting from his great-grandmother’s money, especially after his public criticisms and departure from royal life, leaves a bitter taste in William and Kate’s mouths."

Former royal correspondent Jennie Bond shared similar views, suggesting that the Queen Mother would be disappointed by Harry's current situation. Speaking to OK! magazine, Bond said, "The Queen Mother would have been disheartened to see history repeating itself with Harry’s choice to leave royal life and live abroad, much like her brother-in-law King Edward VIII did for Wallis Simpson."
