Duke of Sussex Encounters Challenges Ahead of Planned UK Visit
Prince Harry is facing the repercussions of his past decisions, now dealing with a challenging situation as he plans to visit the UK. The Duke of Sussex, who aimed to support his family, is restricted by strict rules resulting from his actions against the royal family.
Following the loss of his uncle Robert Fellowes, Harry intended to attend the funeral next week. However, a source revealed that he must provide 28 days' notice before traveling to the UK, as his security has been downgraded by the Home Office. Since stepping down from his senior royal role in 2020 with Meghan Markle, Harry's visits are limited to pre-planned special occasions or public events.
Fellowes, who served as the private secretary to Queen Elizabeth II from 1990 to 1999, was also Princess Diana’s brother-in-law. In addition to this, Harry is struggling to communicate with his father, King Charles, who is battling cancer.
Royal author Christopher Andersen told Fox News Digital that King Charles is refusing Harry’s calls despite his son’s attempts to reach out. Andersen explained that while Harry is “obviously very concerned about his father’s cancer battle,” King Charles remains upset over Harry's portrayal of Camilla in his memoir, Spare.
In the book, Harry referred to Camilla as a “villain” and revealed that both he and Prince William initially pleaded with their father not to marry her. Andersen noted, “When Harry branded his stepmother Camilla a ‘villain,’ he committed what Charles regards as a cardinal sin. No one disses Camilla in royal circles and gets away with it – not even a son of the king.”
