‘Cheeky’ Prince Louis Irks Sister Charlotte: ‘You Have to Stop’
Prince William and Kate Middleton’s three children share a close bond, especially Princess Charlotte and Prince Louis. Charlotte often steps into her big-sister role to ensure her younger brother follows protocol during royal events.
However, during one particular occasion, Prince Louis resisted Charlotte’s attempts to keep him in line, leading to a light-hearted sibling exchange that was caught by a lip reader, as reported by The Mirror.
At this year’s Trooping the Colour, which marked Kate’s first appearance following her cancer diagnosis, the three children joined their mother on the balcony to watch the parade. As the regiments marched by, Louis couldn’t resist dancing to the music, much to Charlotte’s annoyance.
Lip reader Nicola Hickling captured Charlotte telling her brother, “You have to stop doing that. Watch the parade.” Louis, however, cheekily responded, “I won’t,” prompting Charlotte to insist, “Do as you’re told.” Louis held his ground with a firm, “Nope.”
The playful exchange quickly subsided, showcasing the dynamic between the siblings.
An insider previously told People Magazine that Louis is known as the “cheeky monkey” of the family, while Charlotte is “super protective” of her little brother. This protective nature was also evident during King Charles’s Coronation, where Charlotte was seen holding Louis’ hand, guiding him into the venue.
