The Waleses Appoint New Secretary to Prepare Prince George for His Royal Duties
Kate Middleton and Prince William have taken a strategic step to prepare their eldest son, Prince George, for his future role within the royal family. The Prince and Princess of Wales are reportedly advancing plans that aim to benefit George, who is second in line to the throne.
Reports suggest that William and Kate have hired a new assistant private secretary, a move expected to greatly impact George’s future. Royal commentators Cameron Walker and Svar Nanan-Sen discussed the couple’s plans for George on GB News, emphasising that these efforts are designed to prepare George for his future as a key member of the royal family.
Cameron Walker shared, "A royal source told me that when William assumed the title of Prince of Wales, he began learning Welsh. His first major engagement following the royal mourning period was in Swansea with the Princess in 2022."
Walker added, "They aim to deepen the trust, respect, and understanding of the roles of the Prince and Princess of Wales. However, I was informed about this back in 2022."
He further explained, "They are proceeding at their own pace. After a challenging year, it seems they are now driving these initiatives forward."
The appointment of a new assistant private secretary is seen as a pivotal step in their strategy. Walker noted, “Whoever takes on this role will face a challenging task, as they must provide tailored advice to Kate and William and report directly to them."
He continued, "If William and Catherine assign a particular task, it will be interesting to see how this new appointee manages it and what developments emerge from this appointment."
Svar Nanan-Sen offered her perspective, stating, "I believe this is part of a long-term strategy for Catherine and William. They might be planning years, if not decades, ahead."
She continued, "There will come a day when Prince George becomes the Prince of Wales. This infrastructure they are putting in place is not only for their benefit but also for Prince George’s future role."
Kate and William are keen for Prince George to fully grasp the importance and significance of his future responsibilities within the royal family.
