Future King Strengthens Support Network for Cancer-Stricken Wife
Prince William has been relying on two key figures, his in-laws Carole and Michael Middleton, to help protect Kate Middleton during her battle with cancer.
According to UK Weekly, Robert Jobson, author of Princess Kate's new biography, revealed that William shares a special bond with his father and mother-in-law. The future King of England has considered the Middletons a significant part of his life from a very early age.
Jobson noted, "[William] was given another family with Carole and Michael Middleton from a very early age." He added that Kate's parents "showed love to William" through the challenging phases of his early romance with Kate.
The royal commentator explained, "I think he counts on Carole and Michael very much as his second mum and dad, really."
These insights come amidst reports of William's protective nature towards Catherine, especially as she undergoes preventative chemotherapy. The Prince of Wales is reportedly relieved that his in-laws are providing care and support for his wife during this difficult time.
